Trip to Israel

Battle Ready Warriors:

Recently, I returned from a trip to Israel.  This trip is proving to be the best trip I have ever taken. While there I received some re-direction from the Holy Spirit. Over the next few days I want to share what the Holy Spirit laid upon my heart.  Today I will focus on “Now Faith”.   Weeks leading up to my departure tension started escalating in the Middle east.  I began to wonder if it was a good idea for me to go.  All that you heard on the News was concern.  I’m so grateful for the Holy Spirit’s help.  All I kept hearing was Hebrews 11:1 (NASB) “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen “.  The Message Bible reads “The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living.  It’s our handle on what we can’t see.  The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.”   I felt the peace of God and I knew all was well and I could go with confidence knowing God already went before me.  Colossians 3:15 says “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”  When situations in the natural seem concerning, the Word of God must be our guide.  In this situation, the Word led me to have faith and to go in peace.

I recommend every disciple go to Israel if the Lord says the same.  If you go to Israel with an open heart, you will understand things from a higher perspective, that is God’s perspective.  The Bible is brought to life and experienced on another level.  I recommend Sorel Tours as they have excellent faith- based tour guides.  Our tour guide was named David.  David is a Jewish Christian who made my trip worth every dollar and more.  He was able to break down the Word of God and give us prophetic understanding of it.  The man is anointed and a walking history book.  I also must mention Hope Christian Church and Bishop Harry R Jackson.  What a ministry of excellence and one that is led by the Holy Spirit.  I would travel with them again anytime the Lord opens the door.
