Birthday Love

I want to take a moment to thank you all for the love and acknowledgements of my birthday. A very special shout out to Pastor David Walker, Michelle Russell, Mary Crawely and Mary Edwards for their generosity to Battle Ready Warriors International. Pastor David and Michelle you both have been faithful in your support to include finances over the last several years and I’m so grateful and thankful for you both helping me to keep the vision alive.

My birthday was amazing. It started with me spending time in the presence of the Lord. I then saw my hubby off to work and I headed to get my first 90 massage ever. I didn’t know that my 90 minute massage would actually be a 90 minute assignment from the Lord. God knew and He sent me as a gift from Him! I know I know it’s your birthday, you should have been relaxing. Exactly what I thought at first until I was reminded I have been sent to minister in the marketplace. I have been bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus. My life is no longer my own. I offer my body as a living sacrifce, holy and acceptable unto God which is my reasonable act of worship. And so, I gave up my will and reason for going and accepted God’s assignment. He opened up a wonderful opportunity to pray for this person and her family. To give her hope and offer her a solution that can only be found in Jesus, the Christ, the anointed one. Now, God has an opportunity to work in her life and show up and show out like He loves to do. Glory!!

I then headed to Mission Barbecue. I literally had 10 minutes when I arrived. There was one parking space right in front. I ran into the store, the line was to the door. I said to the Lord “I have ten minutes Lord before they will stop everything for the noon salute, and I got to get to my hair appointment”. How about I was through the line, served quickly and out the door at 11:58! WOW! I love how God shows you what He can do.

I arrived at my beautician and I decided, since it’s a new season, it calls for a new style. Yes I got about 4 inches cut off! Of course my beautician was in heaven cause she loves to cut.

Came home to dinner with the family. I finally got to use a gift certificate I received from my birthday last year. My children blessed me with birthday cards that brought me to tears. My daughter made her own card and my son bought his but before I could finish reading them, I was in tears. Proverbs 31 says “her children rise up and call her blessed”. They both blessed me yesterday like never before with their words and I’m overjoyed. My heavenly Father reminding me “its gonna be alright”.

My heavenly Father blessed me with His presence yesterday like I haven’t felt since the beginning of my walk with Him. He encouraged me and let me know “It’s a New Season”. I am entering into my Promised Land, I’m Crossing Over. Things have changed, the old has passed away and the new has come. I want to encourage you all WE ARE CROSSING OVER!

I plan to share this powerful word God has given me in the next few days via fb live. This word is not just for me but for many of God’s people. Please tune in you will be blessed. Battle Ready Warriors: In Christ defeat is impossible

I was thinking about how the devil looks like he is winning and then the Holy Spirit gave me His perspective. He showed me how He is always 10 steps ahead of Satan. While Satan thinks he is destroying God’s plan, God shows up and manifest in victory in a complete different place. He then went on to remind of His word in 1 Corinthians 3:8 (amp) …”None of the rulers of this age recognized and understood this wisdom; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory…” HOLD YOUR PEACE STANDSTILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD (Exodus 14:14). God never loses He has overcome the world (John 16:33).

Deu 28:7 (nasb) says “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated by you; they will go out against you one way and will flee at your presence seven ways”. Did you hear that? THE LORD WILL CAUSE US TO DEFEAT OUR ENEMIES. We must wait on the Lord and be of a good courage as God knows what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. Our job is to wait and hear what thus saith the Lord.

Declaration of Faith

Say: I speak and I decree I will stand still and see God’s salvation, God’s deliverance because it is impossible for God to lie.

Prayer

Father, thank You for opening our spiritual eyes to see and our ears to hear. You call us Your friends, and because we are Your friends You make known to us Your word. Thank You for reminding us there is no need to worry because You are God and besides You there is no other. In Jesus name, Amen

All counterfeit will be exposed

Battle Ready Warriors:

I saw the word counterfeit in a sentence. I don’t remember the whole sentence but I believe the Holy Spirit is saying “All counterfeit will be exposed”. This includes all the counterfeit in people, our individual lives as well as this nation. The purpose is so that we can walk in the truth and be restored. Our God desires a people to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Mark 4:22 (NLT) says “For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open and every secret will be brought to light.”

Matthew 15:13 (NLT) “Jesus replied, “Every plant not planted by my Heavenly Father will be uprooted.”

Declaration

I speak and I decree that I walk in the truth of God’s word. His word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Prayer

Heavenly Father I thank You that because of Your love and mercy You are rescuing us and breaking yokes off our lives so that we can truly serve You with our whole heart. You are circumcising our heart so that we may love You with all our heart and live. I say You are establishing us in Your righteousness and truth. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

God is making all things new

God is burning up the dross.

Proverbs 25:4 says “Take away the dross from the silver, and there comes out a vessel for the smith:”

The waste materials that are separated when metals are purified by smelting are called dross. Intense heat causes the dross to separate from the ore and rise to the top where it forms a scum and can be extracted, leaving a pure metal base. (gotquestions.org) God is desiring to remove all barriers and hinderances out of our way that are keeping us from His abundant life. We were created for His purpose and His plans. Everything He hasn’t planted is being uprooted. Ecc 3:1-3 says “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven-A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted, A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up…verse 11 says “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Jesus didn’t die for us to “just get by” and live below our divine privilege. As I spend time in communion with the Holy Spirit, He is showing me that He is making things as they ought to be. Oftentimes we settle for how things are even when that isn’t God’s best because we don’t even know any better. Strongholds exist in our lives that have been operating under the radar for so long that they have become normal. In order to get God’s best we must be willing to allow Him to “make all things new”. In some areas He is bringing restoration. It was good but somehow we got off track. In other areas, because the foundation wasn’t laid properly, He has to uproot the weed and plant His good seed. I was reminded about of the children of Israel when God brought them out of Egypt. The Spirit said “I’m bringing you OUT to bring you IN!” He took me to Exodus 6:6-8 which says “Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, I am the Lord, and I WILL BRING YOU OUT from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I WILL BRING YOU TO the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you for a possession; I am the Lord.” Be warned, most didn’t make it into the promised land because of their unbelief. (Heb 3:19). We must be willing to cooperate with God as we go through the process of renewal. I’m learning it feels very scary because we have never been this way before. (Josh 3:4) But GOD is faithful. He know the paths that we need to take. (Job 23:10) Isaiah 43:1-2 says “…Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.” He promised never to leave us nor forsake us.

Call upon God now and He promised He would show us great and mighty things we know not. (Jer 33:3). It’s not what it looks like. Ask Him to show you what you need to know and wait upon Him to show you. While you are waiting get into the Word of God, pray and worship. He promises us if we seek we will find, and if we knock the door will be open. (Matt 7:7-8) Focus your eyes on Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith. (Heb 12:2)

Prayer

Father, I thank You for Your mercy and grace that is following us all the days of our lives. It is because of Your mercy that we are not consumed. I claim the scripture that You are making all things new. I call forth an abundance of Your grace in this hour to hear Your voice and obey what you are saying to us. Increase our ability to discern the spirit and walk in Your divine wisdom. I demolish every stronghold the devil has erected in our lives and I cancel the assignment of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy our destiny in You. Because of Jesus’ blood we overcome therefore I cover each of us with His blood. and speak and decree Your protection from Your word over our lives. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Battle Ready Warriors: It's house cleaning time

I just heard the Holy Spirit say “It is not that we lack faith, it’s just that our faith is misplaced”

Mark 11:22 “…Have faith in GOD”

Jeremiah 1:12 (amp) “…for I am {actively} watching over My word to fulfil it”

Our Father is uprooting everything that He hasn’t planted. Where there are cracks in our spiritual foundation, He is helping us to repair it to completion. Cooperate with the Holy Spirit. The process to restoration feels scary because we have never been that way before, but what GOD is doing is ridding us of our fleshly ways and idols so that we can truly live in victory.

AM I DIVIDED?

FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURES:

Ephesians 4:1-6 “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, and one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.  But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 

1 Corinthians 1:10-13 “Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by Chloe’s people, that there are quarrels among you.  Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying, “I am of Paul,” and “I of Apollos,” and “I of Cephas,” and “I of Christ.”  Has Christ been divided?  Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

    Yesterday morning while sleeping I heard these words “Am I divided?”  Immediately I heard the scripture “…there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism.”  I started thinking about ways in which the Body of Christ is divided.  We are divided in many places by race, economics, and largely by political party.  Jesus is saying to us His bride “AM I DIVIDED”. As I searched for scriptures concerning division, I came across 1 Corinthians 1:10-13…“Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by Chloe’s people, that there are quarrels among you.  Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying, “I am of Paul,” and “I of Apollos,” and “I of Cephas,” and “I of Christ.”  Has Christ been divided?  Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

     In this scripture we see that Apostle Paul was dealing with division in the church.  It appears the saints were following their favorite “leader” instead of following Christ.  Paul reminds us here that we were never called to follow a man.  The first thing Paul addresses is that there should be NO DIVISION among the Body but rather they should work towards being complete by having the same mindset.  What mindset is that?  The mind of Christ.  Philippians 2:5-11 (NLT) says “You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.  Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.  Instead, he gave up his divine privileges, he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.  When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.” So much stands out to me om this scripture.  Jesus didn’t focus on how he thought or His own feelings.  He “did not think of equality with God”.  This means, He didn’t put Himself on the throne and decided what is and what should be. He became subject to His Father’s words.  He took the position of humility under God.  This means His Father’s word and instructions was His final judgment. Then Paul goes on to say “Is Christ divided? Jesus is asking His bride today “Am I divided?” Are you serving men, yourself or are you serving me?  I believe the Lord is impressing upon my heart that He is looking for the remnant believers who are united in the Spirit.  It’s time out for a divided body.  How do we expect to accomplish the perfect will of God on this earth being divided?  We are divided by race, divided by doctrines of men that have made God’s Word of no effect. (Mark 7:6-13) We are divided by political party.  Is Jesus a Democrat, Independent, or a Republican?  Jesus said in Matthew 12:25 (NASB) “… Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand.”  Disciples of Christ are not to be led by worldly ideas nor are we to be led by our own.  There is a song many of us have heard called “It’s not about us.”  The lyrics go on to say “but it’s about Jesus.”  The truth is we have made it about us.  How?  By placing how we feel, what we think, and what we believe ahead of what Jesus has said.  Every disciple Jesus called started with “Follow Me.”  Paul reminds us that we must die daily. (1 Cor 15:31) Jesus can’t live and us live at the same time.  One or the other will be in charge.  We are to be led by the Spirit of God for those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.  (Romans 8:14) Why? Because He alone is the one who leads and guides us into all truth. (John 16:13). 

We may belong to different church families but we are all ONE BODY; THE BODY OF CHIRST.  Because we are the Body of Christ, we ALL regardless of church family should govern ourselves according to the Word of God.  Just think what would happen if the only question we asked ourselves is “What does the Word say.”  Whenever we are talking with others and we are giving feedback, our feedback would be “this is what the Word says.”  If we didn’t agree with how another church or person operates or functions instead of “our feedback” it would be what the Word says (unfortunately, God’s Word gets misinterpreted to justify our own disobedience or control (witchcraft) but this will be address in another discussion). Satan and his forces would have less ground in our lives and the lives of others because the ground would be taken up by God’s Word.  I saw this scripture Psalm 119:89 and my spirit man leaped.  It says “The word of God is forever settled in heaven.  Therefore, I establish His word upon this earth.”  Merriam-Webster defines settle as secure permanently.  God’s Word is sure, it can’t fail.  It has been tested and tried.  Establish is defined as to introduce and cause to grow and multiply.  This scripture is speaking to our responsibility as disciples is to cause God’s Word to grow and multiply on this earth by speaking it.  His Word is already secure all we need to do is speak it and therefore we will establish it here on the earth.  Jesus taught us in the Lord’s Prayer “Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  God’s Word must become our final authority.  Now our responsibility must be to establish it on earth by decreeing it out of our mouths.  This is the year of the mouth.  God’s Word is the truth. (John 17:17) When we speak it, we establish it and then His Word must manifest because God watches over His Word to perform it. (Jeramiah 1:12)

As we are shut in, let us the Body of Christ, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to our hearts individually where we are operating in division.  Ask Him, in what ways or attitudes am I feeding a spirit of division?  Whatever Jesus hasn’t planted must be uprooted.  Are we willing to allow Him to uproot whatever isn’t pleasing to Him?  I leave you with His question, “AM I DIVIDED?

An Eternal Covenant

Genesis 17:2.4-8 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly…As for me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a multitude of nations…For I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings will come forth from you. I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you. I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land your sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

Psalm 105:8 “He has remembered His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations.”

The most impactful moment for me while in Israel came the night before my last day in the nation. We had gathered together for worship. Afterward, we were blessed to hear from the owner of the touring company. This man was a powerful anointed Jewish Christian who spoke to us with passion, faith, and conviction concerning Israel and the Word of God. He said something so simple that pierced my heart. He said “God isn’t bringing the Jewish people back to this land because they have been so great or are so deserving but because He keeps His covenant”. The revelation hit me like a mack truck and God’s peace flooded my heart. God is faithful who has promised. God spoke a word to Abraham thousands of years ago, and He has made good on His promise. WOW!!! Thoughts then flooded my mind like God’s goodness isn’t based on man. He doesn’t keep us based on how great we are or how numerous our works. God is faithful to us because He is a covenant keeper.

Religion has taught us that we must be good to earn God’s blessing and if we are not, God is going to take it from us. We didn’t choose God, He chose us. He didn’t choose us because we were awesome well- behaved individuals. As a matter of fact He uses the simple things of this world to confound the wise.”(1 Corin 1:27). I’m saved today because of God’s covenant with generations before me.

Disciples of Christ ought to be Israel’s biggest supporters. Not for politics sake. Because Galatians 4:28 says “And you, dear brothers and sisters, are children of the promise, just like Issac.” Seeing God making good on His covenant promise from scripture to the Jewish people shows me that He will also make good on everything He has promised me. I can see for myself, that God is fulfilling what He has promised and come what may His Word will stand firm and will be fulfilled because it’s impossible for God to lie. Numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?.

Jesus’ last words to His beloved disciples was “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Every time I see the rainbow, I will see it more intimately. What a powerful visual God chose to use to remind us that His covenant is eternal. It never ends.

BATTLE READY WARRIORS: JESUS IS CALLING, NOW IS THE TIME TO COME

ISAIAH 55:6-7

Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.”

ISAIAH 55:6

All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has made light upon Him the guilt and iniquity of us all.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:9-10

…but just as it is written, things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

The last few days I heard these three scriptures while I was sleeping. I believe the Holy Spirit is beckoning souls to come to Him. Many will say “but hasn’t He always done this?” Yes He has, however there are times and seasons where God pours out His grace so that we can do what He is requiring. I believe NOW is one of those times. Even today I happen to look down at my odometer and it read 14,555. Five speaks of grace. This is a season of multiplied grace.

Jesus was made the sacrifice for us to live a life complete. His sacrifice gave every human being a right to access not only eternal life but life while here on earth to the full to the overflow. (John 10:10) The only way to access this life is through Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) No one else knows the plans for your life. (Jer 29:11) Don’t allow the deceit of this world to cause you to forfeit your complete inheritance. The devil is a liar and the father of all lies. (John 8:44) The payout (wages) for our sin is death. (Romans 6:23) Death to your true life and the one you were created to live and ultimately eternal death to your soul. The Word of God says “what does it prosper you to gain the whole world and lose your soul?”

The only way to know what really belongs to you, is by the Spirit of God. Only the Spirit of God knows all things and they are only revealed by His Spirit. (1 Corin 2:9-10) The Spirit of God is our helper. John 14:26 (amp) says “But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor-Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.” Are you in any need of help today? The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God sent to enable us to accomplish and live our best life right here on earth. Jesus is calling you, now is the time to come. Will you answer the call?
